Meet Alex ✨ Hi, I’m Alex — co-owner of Mermaid Bay Studio, boy mama of three, and most likely running between the studio, a baseball field, and our little farm! During the week, I work full-time in clinical research as a Resource Analyst. Before that, I spent more than 10 years in the dental field. I also worked at a few tanning salons and did custom spray tans way back when, so stepping back into the sunless tanning world feels a little like coming full circle. My life is usually busy, loud, and covered in a mix of baseball dirt and farm dust—but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Mermaid Bay gives me a fun and creative space to help others feel beautiful, try something new, and take a little time for themselves. I’m so excited to be building this business with Mindy and bringing a little extra glow and sparkle to our community. I can’t wait to welcome you, get to know you, and help you leave feeling confident! You bring the personality—we’ll add the glow. 🧜♀️⚾️✨

Meet Mindy ✨ Hi, I’m Mindy — co-owner of Mermaid Bay Studio, mom of two amazing girls, and a firm believer that a little confidence boost can go a long way. When I’m not at the studio, you can usually find me juggling mom life, working full-time, at the gym, or somewhere on a football or cheer field. I’ve always loved all things beauty, fitness, and self-care, and Mermaid Bay Studio has given me the opportunity to turn that passion into something I get to share with other women. For me, this studio is about so much more than a spray tan. I want every person who walks through our doors to feel comfortable, welcomed, and confident in their own skin. Whether you’re getting ready for a special event, stepping on stage, heading on vacation, or simply doing something for yourself, I want you to leave feeling like the best version of you.
